In the ninth year of its existence, NADA as a civil-law non-profit-making foundation, is an established and well-functioning body in the fight against doping. It is meanwhile acknowledged as the Anti-Doping Competence Center in Germany – and enjoys an enviable reputation even beyond the country's borders. John Fahey, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), described NADA in February 2011 as "one of the leading anti-doping organisations" and a benchmark on an international comparison.
