For users, cybersecurity is still primarily about protecting technology. Of course, that’s only half the story. In reality, if you’re working on the development of automotive electronic systems, cybersecurity is a strenuous task from start to finish – from the moment you draft initial concepts for connected vehicles to the moment they are sent to the scrap yard. After outlining the results of in-depth expert interviews, we provide an overview of the impact of cybersecurity requirements and explain how to implement them on an organisational and project level, in keeping with defined objectives.
